Amir Izadparast is a principal research engineer at SOFEC with more than 15 years of experience in offshore oil and gas and renewable energy sectors. He has B.S. and M.S. degrees in Civil and Marine structures and received his Ph.D. in Ocean Engineering from Texas A&M University. Amir has been working in the hydrodynamics and mooring design department of SOFEC for the past 12 years. He has worked on a wide range of projects from conceptual design to detailed engineering and installation. He has published numerous papers and contributed to many Joint Industry Projects.
