Chris’ professional career spans 45 years – from field engineering to executive-level management. His experience covers all aspects of the upstream oil & gas industry including business development and business acquisition, project engineering, project management, estimating and proposals management, fabrication and installation operations, business-to-business publishing, brand development and marketing, and management of industry conferences and events.
Chris has worked at several international EPC companies including McDermott, ABB, KBR, and Technip. Having lived and worked in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, Egypt, and the USA, he has travelled extensively.
At Wood, Chris is currently the global account executive responsible for Chevron, an enterprise level account for Wood.
He is a member of ASME and SPE and serves on several advisory boards for upstream industry conferences. Chris has also managed conferences and events as VP & Group Publisher for PennWell, where his remit was to work with the respective Advisory Boards to ensure technical integrity and commercial viability of the events.
Chris received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1980. He has been married to his wonderful wife from Sweden for 37 years. They have lived in Sugar Land, Texas for 25 years and have two grown daughters and two young grandsons. They both enjoy travelling, reading, skiing, and golf. Chris also enjoys tennis.
