David Filho is a Mechanical Engineer graduated by Estate University of Rio de Janeiro, with 22 years of experience, post graduated by PUC university in Piping Offshore systems. 

He has been working in MODEC for the last 10 years, joined MODEC as Piping Engineer in 2014. In 2019 he became Engineering Manager and in 2021 he was assigned as Asset Reliability Manager, responsible for Naval Integrity, Static equipment integrity (SPIE) and Equipment Reliability (TBM) for all Fleet.

In 2023 he was appointed to Technical Manager of new entity created by MODEC group called MODEC TECH which is based in Portugal. MODEC Tech has been created focus on providing engineering support on the MODEC facilities in West Africa.
