Eugenio Simões is a Field Development Manager at Subsea7, where he leads the strategy and implementation of digital tools supporting Early Engagement Studies. With more than 20 years of experience in the subsea industry, he has built a career spanning technical leadership, concept development, and multidisciplinary project evaluation. Before joining Subsea7 in 2020, he spent 15 years at Petrobras in several leadership roles, culminating as Technical Advisor for subsea systems, with a strong focus on concept selection during the FEL 2 phase. Eugenio holds a degree in Electronics Engineering and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from PUC Rio, where his research area was CFD for multiphase flow. His expertise centers on subsea systems and field development.
