James has generated >$2.2 billion in NPV through exploration & asset development, added >1.1 billion barrels of recoverable resource for ConocoPhillips, BP, Talisman, & GeoPark, generated > $0.5 billion from international divestments, and raised $1 billion in third-party exploration capital.
James served as CXO of GeoPark (NYSE: GPRK) and is now CEO and a Director of BluEnergies Ltd. (TSX:V BLU).
James holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Geology from Miami University and Utah State University, respectively. In 2021, James was recognized by AAPG’s 100th Anniversary Committee as one of Industry’s Top 100.
