Umberto Nespolo serves as the Global Sales and Commercial Director for the Subsea Projects and Services Division in Oilfield Services and Equipment within Baker Hughes. 

Umberto is responsible for driving the strategy to achieve revenues and long-term growth for the subsea business, leading the front-end engagement through early engineering engagement, sales and commercial strategy, partnering closely with regional leadership and global key accounts.   

Umberto joined Baker Hughes (legacy GE Oil and Gas) in 2013 and held several different roles always in the subsea arena from regional leadership to global roles. Prior to that he held multiple positions in sales and commercial roles of increasing responsibility in EPC contracting and subsea.
Umberto graduated in Physics (MPhys) from the University of Milan, and lives with his family in Aberdeen, Scotland.
