Sebastian Morris is a Senior Subsea Controls Engineer who’s spent his career working on challenging deepwater projects in places like Angola, Norway, UK, Nigeria, Malaysia and beyond. He’s currently with TotalEnergies EP Angola, where he helps keep subsea systems running smoothly and leads repair and modification projects. In the past, he has contributed to major offshore projects with Shell and Husky Energy.

His journey has taken him from hands-on field operations and commissioning work to leading engineering teams and tackling design challenges. He’s worked on deepwater projects, managed complex installations and supported everything from day-to-day operations to major upgrades.

Sebastian earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southampton, UK. He’s known for his practical approach, technical know-how and ability to work with teams across different cultures and disciplines. Whether he’s troubleshooting equipment, mentoring young engineers or collaborating with specialists, Sebastian brings energy and expertise to every project.
