Peter Adam BSc (Hons), HND (Merit), and Burgess of Aberdeen, is a founding member of ABL’s Asset and Integrity Management (AIM) division and currently serves as its Group Managing Director, overseeing global operations.

With over 25 years of experience in the international energy sector, complemented by three years in manufacturing and two in defence, Peter brings deep expertise in business performance improvement, operational excellence, digital solutions, process safety, reliability, maintenance, and asset integrity. His work has supported organizations worldwide in achieving measurable improvements in safety, uptime, and operational efficiency.

Peter is passionate about driving performance through the adoption of best practices in operational excellence and operations readiness and assurance. His skill set includes advanced modelling, benchmarking, reliability-centred maintenance (RCM), root cause analysis (RCA), and asset integrity strategies.

Under Peter’s leadership, ABL AIM has cultivated a customer-focused, apolitical culture that prioritizes delivery and innovation. His strategic vision and business intuition have consistently driven high growth, culminating in recognition such as the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade (2019).
